How To Buy

Buying via the internet is easy.  To make it easier still, please follow these simple steps to make sure you get exactly what you need, whether it's to check availability, request more information, make a reservation or to buy.

 

Stage 1 - information and availability check

 

Once you have seen a piece of work you like in the Gallery simply click on the shopping cart symbol below the work you've chosen. 

 

If you would like more information about the work or the artist just call us (01749 343914) or email amanda@bowlishgallery.co.uk and we'll contact you directly.

 

We will confirm that the work in which you're interested is still available and arrange for you to either view it here at our gallery in Somerset or to send you more detailed photographs.  Remember the colours on your screen may not exactly match those of the piece you have chosen and we strongly recommend prior viewing if at all possible.  

 

Once we received your expression of interest we will reserve the work for one week until the sale goes through. 

 

 

Stage 2 - payment

 

Once you are happy with your purchase you can pay in one of the following ways:

 

• 1. Credit card over the phone
• 2. Cheque; we will despatch the piece you have chosen once your cheque has cleared

 

The price includes delivery within the UK unless the items are exceptionally large or heavy.  In such instances we'll provide you with a quote for approval before we despatch your purchase.  All pieces are insured by us whilst in transit to you.

 

 

Stage 3 - despatch

 

Your piece or work will be despatched as soon as possible once payment has gone through.  We'll notify you of the despatch date and anticipated delivery date.

 

 

Returns

 

If you are not satisfied with your piece of work when it arrives it you can return it with a copy of your receipt, provided that you contact us in writing or email within seven days of receiving it.  You are responsible for arranging carriage and insurance on the return journey and must return the work to us within ten days of its arrival with you.

 

All work must be returned undamaged and in original packaging where appropriate to Bowlish Contemporary Gallery, Old Bowlish House, Bowlish, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, BA4 5JA. 

 

As long as all of these conditions are met we will refund either directly to your credit card or by cheque.

Please note that the rights to the image remain the property of the artist, or the artist's estate.  Images may not be used for commercial reproductive purposes without the express permission of the artist.  We are happy to discuss this with the artist should you wish us to.
