Artists

Sonia's work is concerned with ideas of journeys, transformation and the search for individual freedom.  The images develop out of drawings that are open to interpretation rather than having a specific meaning. 

Her work is exhibited across the UK and held in various public collections including those of New Hall College, Cambridge; the University of the Arts and Southampton City Art Gallery.  A Masters Graduate in printmaking (Camberwell College of Art), Sonia has also won a number of awards including the Winsor & Newton Watercolour Prize and the Oppenheim-John Downs Memorial Trust award.
