Introduction

As a child, Sukey roamed the countryside on her ponies thus developing a lifelong passion for wildlife from an early age.  Sukey's sculptures are lively studies of both wildl and domestic animals.  Sometimes she chooses a mythological subject and carves in stone instead of modelling in clay although most of her work is cast in bronze or bronze resin.

Sukey is also well know for her portraits of people and is a founder member of the Society of Portrait Sculptors in London.  She is a past winner of the John Brandler Prize for Sculpture at the Royal West of England Academy.  Sukey exhibits widely in London and in galleries around England.  Collectors in the USA, Australia and Japan have acquired many of her works.
