Artists

In her work, Ruth brings together the observed world around her and her own inner world.  She strives for a complete and surprising statement and a moment of recognition of a feeling that might be recent or in the distant past.  She is influenced too by the changes of season, the tension  between light and darkness and spiritual places and spaces.

Ruth loves experimenting with different kinds of materials and regularly uses watercolour, wax crayon, oil acrylic and collage in her paintings.

She has exhibited in Switzerland, Holland and the UK and her work is also held in many private collectiobns in the UK, Switzerland, Australia, Italy and America.
